CELEBRATED dance company, Moscow City Ballet, visit the Wycombe Swan at the end of the month.

The Company bring the world most famous ballet Swan Lake and the timeless classic The Nutcracker to the stage. Swan Lake follows the fate of Prince Siegfried as he falls in love with the beautiful Swan Queen, Odette.

This magical ballet is feature lavish sets, dazzling costumes and stunning choreography.

The Nutcracker, featuring Tchaikovsky’s familiar score, tells the enchanting tale of Clara’s magical adventure with her Nutcracker Prince, their visit to the delicious Land of Sweets and the charming Sugar Plum Fairy.

Both Tchaikovsky’s impressive scores are performed live by Moscow City Ballet Orchestra to complete a thrilling evening of dance.

Founded by Victor Smirnov-Golovanov in 1988, Moscow City Ballet is one of Russia’s most successful and popular touring ballet companies, highly admired for its distinctive style, choreography and gifted dancers.

Mr Smirnov-Golovanov said, "In these difficult economic times I’m amazed by the support and appreciation the UK audience give to Moscow City Ballet. I truly believe that dance is escapism and I’m delighted that people find enjoyment and pleasure in watching our gifted dancers perform our Russian jewels."
