AFTER Wycombe Swan's Youth Theatre successful productions last year they are now preparing for their latest show, Little Shop of Horrors, which is coming to the stage this week.

A cast of 50 youngsters will shine in this production of one of the best science-fiction-spoof-musical.

The story follows Seymour Krelborn, who is down on his luck, and spends day in day out slaving away in Mr Musnik’s Florists, mooning over the glamorous and ditsy assistant Audrey, and dreaming of a way out of downtown Skid Row. Until one day, during a total eclipse of the sun, Seymour stumbles upon a strange and exotic new plant that could change his luck forever.

An overnight success, the newly christened Audrey II offers Seymour a ticket out of Skid Row and perhaps even a chance of a date with the real life Audrey – but this isn't an ordinary shrub.

As Audrey II grows to monstrous proportions and develops a blood thirsty appetite, Seymour gives in to her ferocious demands. Featuring an iconic score from Disney’s Alan Menken, including Skid Row, Somewhere That’s Green, Suddenly Seymour and Don’t Feed the Plants it is a fully interactive 4D experience.

Little Shop of Horrors is in High Wycombe Town Hall from February 21-24 at 7.30pm, except 5.30pm on the Sunday and 2.30pm on the Saturday matinee. Tickets are £13 (£2 off concessions) from 01494 512000 or go to www.wycombeswan.co.uk
