Jackie Palmer School winners at Chesham Festival

SINGERS from the Jackie Palmer Stage School achieved six first places in Chesham Festival's singing competition.

The choir gained more than 90 marks and won a bursary given by the Rotary Club of Amersham, who asked the choir to perform at their Jubilee concert in June.

Apart from the choir, Alice Martin, Theo Fewell, Imogen Read (won two sections) and Sabrina Basile all came first.

The School is shortly to move into its new premises in Bridge Street and is currently working on a production of Spring Awakening.
