MARLOW Jazz Club are delighted to have secured the services of one of Britain's busiest and most popular jazzmen for their next gig on February 14. Derek Nash, leader of Sax Appeal and star soloist in the Jools Holland Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, will be at the Royal British Legion Hall along with his collection of saxes of all sizes including his prized 'Grafton' alto as played by Charlie Parker. Derek will be joined by a regular colleague, award winning trumpeter Martin Shaw. The resident Frank Toms Trio provide the backing, and, given the date, a rendition of 'My Funny Valentine' is a distinct possibility. More details on www.marlowjazz.co.uk.
