Why do you love it? It’s a proper local traditional pub - lots of character, great staff and friends. More my type of thing rather than the bars in town...I love the fact my dog can come along with me too.

How long have you been going there? Over eight years Where do you sit? Depends on how busy the pub is, but I do prefer the back snug bar. Also the pub garden on a lovely sunny day.

What are the staff like? Fantastic! Friendly, helpful, efficient and most of all fun.

What’s been your best night at the pub? Has to be my birthday last year - after a whole evening of drinking we had the party tunes on. All the staff and customers sat on the floor dancing and singing along to 'Ooops upside your head!'

What do you normally drink? Will always try the guest ales in the pub as there are different ones every day. But I do enjoy a cool glass of wine.

Any other funny stories? There are far too many to mention all of them... I have seen the landlord riding his motorbike through the pub! The many birthdays, fancy dress evenings and beer fests are a lot of fun and laughter too.
