Celebrations with Raymond Blanc for Amersham restaurant
THE Artichoke Restaurant Celebrates its 10th Anniversary with guest chef Raymond Blanc on October 31.
The restaurant in Old Amersham was fully booked within a matter of minutes and will mark the grand finale of a successful string of guest chef events at the Artichoke though out 2012.
Head chef Laurie Gear has been joined by highly talented chefs including Russell Bateman (Colette’s at The Grove), James Knappett (Noma, Bubbledogs), Prue Leith and Alyn Williams (The Westbury).
Laurie and his wife, Jacqueline opened the Artichoke restaurant in 2002 and has earned an array of awards and accolades and was named the Good Food Guide’s Best New Entry 2011, awarded a rising star in the Michelin Guide for 2011 and listed 35th in the Good Food Guide’s top 50 UK restaurants for 2013 with a cooking score of 7/10.
