THE Misbourne Symphony Orchestra begins its 51st Season with three pieces for the brass players called Three Brass Cats and Kraken (both by local composer Chris Hazell) and William Byrd’s The Earl of Oxford’s March, then Rachmaninov's Isle of the Dead- Symphonic Poem, op 29 and Piano Concerto No. 3 Op. 30 with soloist Viv McLean.

The concert is on October 20 at 7.45pm at Amersham School, Stanley Hill, Amersham.

Tickets are £12 for adults and £5 for children from 01494 784479; or from Perfect Pitch, Chesham; or from The Record Shop, Woodside Rd, Amersham; or at the door of Amersham School.
