The production in the 70s
FROM one decade to another Showcourt Productions is once more bringing Blithe Spirit to the stage.
As the pictures show the Free Press first covered the Hughenden Valley Drama Group's production of Blithe Spirit in the late 1970s.
And it looks as if you would be hard pushed to see the difference as they bring the current version of the same play back. Some members of the first cast have already confirmed their attendance, including "Madam Arcarti" , who is now in her tenth decade.
Blithe Spirit will be performed at Holmer Green Village Centre from November 1 to November 3 at 7.30 pm. Tickets are £15 which includes a fish and chip supper. Call 01494 714391.
