Manager: Geri Hishin, has taken over the pub in the last couple of months, assisted by daughter Nikki Edmeads.
She said: "I've been in the pub trade for over 30 years. We've got a family friendly atmosphere here. The pub has lovely comfortable leather sofas, a wall of wine as a feature and has recently undergone a major refurbishment. We also serve a lot of food and have a comprehensive menu, with the traditional favourites."
Opening times: Monday to Wednesday 11am - 11pm
Thursday to Saturday 11am - midnight
Food: Served every day with a specials board. Served 12-3 and 6-9 midweek and 12-9 at weekends.
There is a good selection of Tapas every day of the week.
Thursday - Curry night, Friday - fish night, Saturday - Steak night, Sunday - Sunday Lunch. Buffets for available for parties.
Chefs: James Littler and Patrick Townsend
Drinks: Bottled and draught continental beers. Two real ales and one gas ale. Cocktails, a long wine list and coming soon, Champagne from a glass.
Easter: A special menu is on offer and kids get a free cream egg. On Easter Sunday, they are having a BBQ, face painting for children, and an easter egg hunt from midday.
Music: Coming soon a selection of acoustic music and high quality jazz.
Quiz: A fun, light hearted competition takes place Thursday nights.
