Landlord and Landlady: John and Tracey Hudson - have been in charge for 2 and a half years.
Tracey said: "I think it's a warm friendly atmosphere, there are a lot of local people we know that come in regularly. We have a strong rugby following - lots of Wasps supporters - and we show the games on the large television. Out the back we have chickens and an aviary, so it's a bit unusual, but the customers love it."
Pub Pets: Two dogs - a Rottweiler called Bear and a Colly called Dimple. Also lots of birds and chickens in the garden at the back.
Food and drink: Steak night - first Saturday of each month
Tracey said: " I think what we're famous for is our Sunday Roasts and Real Ales."
The pub has offered customers nearly 300 different real ales and has made it into the good beer guide 2008. Currently serving Harvey's Sussex Best.
Chefs: Tracey and John do all the cooking.
Opening times: Monday to Thursday 11am - 12pm
Friday and Saturday 11am - 1am
