The Two Brewers - St Peters Street, Marlow

Clive Mason and Barry Mason of The Two Brewers - St Peters Street, Marlow

Landlords: Father and son, Clive Mason, 58, Barry Mason, 31. Clive has run three pubs since 1978 and is a long time resident in the town.

Clive said: "It's one of the oldest pubs in the town. It goes back to 1755. It's a traditional old English pub. When people come to visit it's the epitome of what they expect a British pub to be. We try to keep that flavour in the decor, to take it back to the original. It's a great locals pub and we have a good following, including the Marlow rugby club. It's close to the river so we get a good crowd when the Swan uppers come in July. "

Opening times: Monday - Thursday 11am - 11pm Weekends: Open until midnight Friday and Saturday nights. Sunday 12am -10.30pm Food: " We pride ourselves on our food. Everything is prepared fresh on the premises."

Dogs: The pub welcomes dogs to the pub, but not to the restaraunt!

Food: Served every day. Traditional pub food ranging from fish dishes to steak and Lamb. Full a la carte menu. Starters/shared plates, bar nibbles and a sandwich menu - bread supplied by Burgers bakery down the road.

Chefs: (Head) Leana Mason from South Africa, Emma Mcleod from New Zealand, Mike Knowles, from Marlow.

Drinks: Support the local brewery, Rebellion. Currently have Rebellion IPA and Mutiny on tap and Blond by the bottle. House wines - four white and three red.

Function rooms: 3 function rooms which are available for private parties, business seminars, clubs and society meetings.

Summer BBQs: A great place for families to come and for kids who can play next to the river.
