Our Story: My partner and I have been together now for seven years, and engaged for three years.

Since Stuart proposed to me, we have been saving our money each month to buy a house together. This was a very hard task for both of us as neither of our jobs pay very well. We finally managed to save enough for a deposit last March, and started looking for houses. We found one we liked, but didn’t have enough money for the deposit, so our amazing parents dipped into our wedding fund and really helped us out.

Now, eight months down the line, I have realised we can’t afford our dream wedding, and have started to save again. To marry Stuart in a beautiful white wedding dress with all my family and friends there would be a dream come true, but I can’t see it happening.

Stuart is my soul mate, and I can’t wait to walk down the aisle and see him smiling at me.
