Actor, charity campaigner and life peer Brian Rix arrives in Thame for An Audience With... this weekend.
Lord Rix began his multifaceted career as an actor, most notably with the Whitehall Theatre from 1944 to 1969. He also regularly appeared on television and film, before retiring in 1980. He subsequently gave his services to Mencap and now serves as its President. In 1992, he was created a life peer.
