THERE'S plenty to laugh about at a new comedy club opening in Marlow next week.
Hosted by the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Fieldhouse Lane, The Comedy Club will regularly feature three top stand-up acts from the UK comedy circuit.
For the inaugural night, Matt Welcome and Jim Tavare will work their satirical wit with the audience, alongside compere duo Chambers and Nettleton.
Matt Welcome returns to the comedy circuit after taking the last few years off as a sabbatical. As a veteran of the comedy world, Matt has played to audiences up and down the country and was at one time a regular face on British television.
Jim Tavare has been descirbed as "the natural heir to Tommy Cooper" and was the star of the BAFTA award-winning The Sketch Show. He has also appeared at three Royal Variety performances and stars in the Harry Potter films as Tom, the surly inn-keeper of The Leaky Cauldron.
Northern duo Chambers and Nettleton are just emerging onto the comedy circuit and are fast gaining a reputation for their warmth, infectious charm and caustic wit.
