CELEBRATING its 25th anniversary concert the Chiltern Fiddle Rally gets under way this Sunday, January 16 at 7pm at High Wycombe's Swan Theatre.

There will be an orchestra of around 90 fiddlers, supported by flutes, accordions, piano, double bass and drums playing a programme of traditional Scottish music.

The musicians are of all ages, some of whom have travelled from the USA and the Shetland Islands.

Two special guests will be there including Landing Party, a seven-piece band, and the Harpenden Pipe Band.

Organiser Ian Robertson said: “This will be an evening to remember. We have a great programme of music and some of the very best traditional musicians to perform it”.

All proceeds from the event are donated to charity each year.

THE Wycombe Sinfonia orchestra presents the traditional annual children's concert when Tubby the Tuba goes on holiday to musical places.

GET your groove on at the Official Urban Strides Dance Crew auditions this Sunday at 10am at Bucks New Uni, High Wycombe Campus.

They have appeared on Blue Peter and with stars such as Dizzee Rascal and Sean Paul.

Barbara Askew will talk about the Ancient Olympic Games, the development of the Modern Olympic Games and London 2012.

KATY Setterfield returns to the Elgiva in Chesham as Dusty Springfield and friends in Concert on January 27 at 8pm.
