A SCHOOL in Great Missenden and a hospital have joined forces in a new arts venture.

The Misbourne School and BMI Chiltern Hospital launched a unique exhibition on February 25 of the student’s artwork and photography to show off at the hospital.

The year 10 students’ work includes black and white lino prints and photographs which is taken from their first GCSE project based on nature.

Headteacher Robert Preston said: "The quality of art and photography at The Misbourne is absolutely outstanding and our strong links with the hospital ensures that students’ work can be shared with members of the public"

The display will be changed over the coming months to allow more students from different year groups to exhibit their work and visitors, patients and staff at the hospital to experience a range of inspirational art.

Student Harry Brewer said: "It was a privilege to be invited to take part in the exhibition, I hope the patients and staff at the hospital like our work".
