CUDDINGTON Gardens will be open for visitors on Sunday from 2-6pm as part of the National Gardens Scheme. The picturesque Midsomer Murders village, near Thame, will have five gardens open ranging from a small cul-de-sac semi detached in Bernard Close to the three-acre Old Rectory Garden. Home-made teas are available at Tyringham Hall and The Bernard Hall in aid of Cuddington Sunshine Club and The Bernard Hall. It is £5 for combined admission and children free.

THE Winslow Concert Band will be performing at the RSPCA annual fun day at the Blackberry Farm Animal Centre in Quainton, Aylesbury this Sunday. Apart from music there will be demonstrations from prisons sniffer dogs and a rescue dog 'hero' parade. The centre will be open from 11am-4.30pm. Adults are £3.50 and children/OAP are £1.50.
