Hunt is on for fine food stars

Fine food producers are invited to enter the Guild of Fine Food's annual Great Taste Awards.

Food producers from all over the UK and Ireland will compete for the prestigious awards, which set the standard for Britain's fine food sector. The gold and black logo that prizewinners are entitled to display on their products is widely recognised by consumers, generating big profits for those who win the coveted gold accolades.

Judging takes place from May until July, with every entry blind-tasted by teams of experts. Winners will be awarded their prizes at a London ceremony in September.

The deadline for entries is Friday, April 25. Entry forms are available at www.finefoodworld.co.uk
