THE Tree Hotel in Cadmore End is excited to welcome a new chef to its kitchen.

Anurag Sharma is the new head chef, coming from Aroma restaurant where he worked for two years to make it multi-cuisine.

He grew up in Delhi and moved to England in 2003, but he has been cooking for nearly 25 years.

He did an apprenticeship in India in 1989 at the Hotel Taj Palace Intercontinental, and can speak three languages.

Anurag said his signature dish has to be Pasta Carbonara and Risotto, and he also cooks a delicious Chicken Chettinad.

He said: "I am really excited to be at The Tree Hotel at Cadmore End, the team here have been very welcoming to me and I look forward to what will come in the future. I enjoy being able to make traditional Indian dishes, especially an authentic Chicken Tikka Masala, Korma, Roganjosh and Biryani."

The menu will be changed slightly in October. For more details go to www.treehotel.co.uk
