Where do you live? We live together in Marlow, but Nicole’s originally from Canada.
Why do you love this pub? There’s such a friendly atmosphere here. The landlord and landlady John and Elieen are so welcoming. We met here actually. I was sitting in the corner with a friend when Nicole walked in. Luckily Eileen the landlady made a little introduction and the rest is history! That was 15 months ago.
Where do you sit? Actually I’ve got my own seat! It’s got my name on it so there’s always somewhere to sit.
What makes the pub so special to you? Roger did the decorating in here, and he painted it the same colour as our living room so it really feels like a home from home! My dog Harry loves it here too, he practically grew up here.
How often do you come here? As often as we can! Most days, plus now they’ve started doing lunch, we come here during the day too
