Pub: The Royal Oak, Marlow
Name: Mick Waller
From: Bisham.
How long have you been a regular? I’ve been coming here for over 20 years. I used to live just down the road and I’ve since moved to Bisham but I still come quite a bit.
How has the pub changed in that time? It’s become a lot more foody, and you get lots of families and couples coming for meals. But even though the food has sort of taken over they’ve kept that welcoming local feel so it’s still a great place to have a drink.
What do you drink? Lager, I’ve got my own glass, it’s the only one like it in the pub and they keep it behind the bar for me.
What do you like about the pub? There’s a really friendly atmosphere and the bar staff are all nice. I know all the people up here too and that keeps me coming back.
Where do you normally sit? Always at the end of the bar
