5. THE Hazlemere Players will be performing Murdered to Death this weekend. This play by Peter Gordon is one of the "Inspector Pratt" series of spoof Agatha Christie whodunnits and will be performed at the Hazlemere Community Centre in Rose Avenue on January 17 and 18 starting at 8pm. The play introduces the inept and bungling inspector who battles against the odds and his own incompetence to solve the murder of the owner of a house in the country in the 1930s. It soon becomes clear that the murderer isn't finished yet; will the miscreant be unmasked before everyone else has met their doom or will the audience die laughing first?
