Bucks Pottery & Sculpture Society

The Misbourne Symphony Orchestra
The Misbourne Orchestra’s summer concert has some of our favourite romantic music, including Brahms, Weber and Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto, starting with Weber’s overture to his opera Der Freischütz. Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto was his last orchestral work and represents the height of the composer’s creative powers. After the interval Richard Jacklin conducts the orchestra in Brahms’s epic Fourth Symphony, which he composed when 52 years old in a small Austrian village "where the cherries never ripen". The Greatest Hits Choir
This will be the fourth year in a row that the choir has entertained visitors to this splendid 18th century National Trust run country house. This is a free event for visitors to the house, which has an admission fee, who will be able to hear a variety of well known pop songs to show tunes. Some of the songs will be sung to backing tracks, others a cappella- in short - something for everyone. The choir will be singing  in the music room where a few chairs will be arranged for the visitors to sit a while if they so desire. Miniature Train Rides
The High Wycombe Model Engineering Club holds its public running days on its raised track which is situated on the far side of the Homer Green Sports Association Grounds adjacent to the tennis courts. The trains are pulled by steam or electric locos around a picturesque dumbbell shaped track. They also have a tea tent which provides coffee, tea and soft drinks as well as an assortment of home made cakes, buns and biscuits. BBC Flog It Returns to Tring Market Auctions.
