1. Hearing Dogs for Deaf People annual Christmas market opening
Join Heart DJ Toby Anstis as he opens the charity’s annual Christmas market on Friday. Visitors can get into the festive spirit with complementary mulled punch and mince pies and enjoy Christmas carols from the singing and signing choir, as well as meeting the charity’s four legged friends. Shoppers looking to start their Christmas shopping early can shop ‘til they drop, with a range of gifts, crafts and stocking fillers for sale for adults and dogs alike. Children can also make their first visit of the year to Santa and his elves in his festive Grotto. Entrance donation is £5 for adults, £3 for concessions and children (5 – 16 years), and under 5’s go free. Tickets can be purchased on the day.

2. Courtyard Christmas Craft Fair
Wendover High Street is the perfect place to start your Christmas shopping. With a wide variety of craft and food stalls form local makers and artisans. This year we will be undercover in a large marquee, so no reason to miss out, even if the weather is bad! All the shops in the Courtyard will be open to tempt you in with seasonal gifts and treats! 3. Christmas at Halton House
Come and enjoy live music, a hot supper and of course mulled wine to put you in the Christmas spirit! The wonderful and historic setting of the former Rothschild residence of Halton House for this Christmas event means it is sure to sell out quickly! All profits raised will go to the Chilterns MS Centre who provide treatment and care to 260 patients with Multiple Sclerosis a week. The services including physiotherapy, oxygen treatment and hydrotherapy. The Centre relies on supporters’ generous donations and fundraising for most of its income and only receives a small amount of funding from the NHS. 4. Johnny Wheeler Band at Rivet Sports and Social Club

5. Santa’s Magical Adventures
The Buckinghamshire Railway Centre at Quainton offers a series of “Santa’s Magical Adventures”. Father Christmas brings a gift (age and gender suitable) for every child during their Steam Train ride, followed by complimentary seasonal refreshments for adults, with a juice drink and chocolate biscuit for children. Then great free Face Painting, followed by entertainment at the 20-minute Live Balloon Show. It’s a really special outing for all the family. Trains run regularly throughout the day from 10.25am until 3.20pm Booking is essential. For the first 3 days, Santa’s Train will be hauled by Thomas the Tank Engine™.
