Bucks Open Studios 2015
Open Studios is an annual event where artists and makers all over the County open their studios or hold exhibitions showcasing and demonstrating their work. It is a wonderful opportunity to experience first-hand the creativity going on in your area. Bucks Open Studios is run by the Visual Images Group, an alliance of over 600 artists and makers in Buckinghamshire. Bucks New University Annual Art and Design Show
Buckinghamshire New University's art and design show is open to the public from 5.30pm-9pm on Friday 12 June; 10am-3pm on Saturday 13 June and Sunday 14 June; 10am-4pm on Monday 15 June; 10am-7pm on Tuesday 16 June and Wednesday 17 June; and 10am-4pm on Thursday 18 June. The show features a range of work from undergraduate and postgraduate students in subjects such as Advertising Creative, Fine Art, Foundation Studies: Art, Design and Media, Furniture, Graphic Arts, Product Design, Spatial Design, Fashion Design, and Textiles and Surface Design.

Thank You For The Music
Claiming to present the world’s longest-running ABBA concert show, the cast of Thank You for the Music are celebrating the trade-marked show’s 22nd anniversary this year. The production’s Lycra-tight harmonies and superb musicianship have been delighting live music fans for longer than Bjorn, Benny, Agnetha and Frida did during the 70s and 80s. Beers, Bevvies and Brewing at Wycombe Museum
Taste locally brewed beers from Rebellion, Malt and Chiltern breweries plus locally made cider from Drovers Hill Farm. The evening will include a short talk on the history of brewing in Wycombe District by Museum Curator, Catherine Grigg, and tastings led by Keith Knight from Chiltern Brewery. Henry IV Part One
The Garden Players present open air performances of Shakespeare's Henry IV part one, directed by John Timewell. With the lawns of Stubbings House open for picnics from 5.30pm, a licensed bar and the audience being under cover on raised seating, the evening promises to be hugely enjoyable. Hambleden Open Gardens
Hambleden Village will be opening a number of gardens throughout the valley this year. From the large gardens like Burrow Farm with its own ha-ha around its grounds and beautiful barn where teas will be served, to smaller, cottage gardens in this idyllic brick and flint village. Plenty for all to see. There will be a market in the village hall with stalls selling various foodstuffs and collectables. There is a raffle with big value prizes and free parking is available in the village and at the large gardens. Proceeds to help maintain Hambleden Village Hall. Tough Tenors
The explosive combination of these two extrovert saxophonists will without doubt provide one of the year's top gigs at Marlow Jazz Club. Art Themen ('Doctor Jazz') is a regular favourite at the Royal British Legion Hall, but it is several years since his favourite sparring partner, the mighty Don Weller, came down this way. Both are major names on the British jazz scene and both have distinctive sounds. The Frank Toms Trio will provide their usual dependable backing. Treasures from the Bucks County Museum's Social History Collection
