Yes, I have seen several people on the train using this wonderful new portable game player from Sony namely the PSP.

The Playstation portable is best portable player and new device around. It has a lot of features and excellent graphics for game playing and movie watching.

The design is excellent, it really a Playstation 2 made into a new look portable version, that is good value for money and easy to use quickly.

I am currently viewing the Spiderman 2 movie on the PSP as part of my testing and viewing the film as well. The picture quality is excellent, sound quality is good, but excellent on the earphones.

There are a variety of games and films now available on this product. The portability side of this device is excellent and the wireless capabilities. This is a very professionally designed and up to date device and really spot on to the needs of the market at present. The videos are played at near DVD quality and the gaming is really good. There is also a built in MP3 player with a memory stick up to one gigabytes. The standard is a 32MB size card that comes bundled with the device. There will be a four gigabyte card in the near future. Apart from the Ipod like MP3 player, the PSP comes with a wireless internet connection to enable it to connect to the net and also other PSP users.

Another addictive game is Virtua Tennis: World Tour, the arcade and home console hit, features three core gameplay modes: World Tour, where players travel the globe using a custom-created character to win cash; Exhibition, where players can take control of a pro tennis all-star for one-off matches; and Tournament, which puts players in knockout sessions where only the best will see victory. In addition, this fast-paced games also features a playable array of internationally renowned tennis pros in addition to a make-your-own player mode, exclusive mini-games, and original courts. Wi-Fi gameplay is supported, encouraging up to four friends to play together.

The screen is a decent size for this type of unit, and the movie with no jerking , just makes it a cut above the rest. There are several programs out there that allow the conversion of standard DVD's to movies that can be played on the PSP. The only disappointing feature is the battery life which lasts for only three hours.
