Wycombe Orpheus Male Voice Choir record their third album


A RESPECTED Wycombe choir took time out at the weekend to record a new album.

More than 60 members of Wycombe Orpheus Male Voice Choir gathered at the concert hall at Wycombe Abbey Girls School to record a CD of music in a variety of styles.

Their third album will feature Robbie Williams' Angels and Westlife's You Raise Me Up through to Memory from the musical Cats.

The recording was conducted by MD Louise Langley with Michael Macmillan on piano.

The CD will be launched at the Orpheus' annual concert at the Wycombe Swan on Saturday, May 8.

This Saturday the choir are in concert at St Michaels and All Angels Church in Beaconsfield, starting at 7.30pm. Tickets are £10 from 01494676373.
