Norden Farm's award-winning quartet in residence will be performing a spring concert next week.

The Endellion String Quartet are the proud winners of the Royal Philharmonic Society Award for Best Chamber Ensemble, and they will be entertaining audiences at the Maidenhead venue on Thursday.

The evening's music will include Haydn's String Quartet, Beethoven's Quintet and Quintet in G minor from Mozart.

The quartet was formed in 1979 and has performed across the world, with regular tours of South and North America, Australasia, the Far East and Europe.

Closer to home, the quartet have performed at nearly every major series or festival in Britain, and are regularly broadcast on BBC radio and television. They have also made a series of popular recordings.

The Endellion String Quartet visits Norden Farm Centre for the Arts on Thursday, March 13 at 7.30pm. Details: 01628 788997 or www.nordenfarm.org
