Farewell concert

SAYING goodbye for the season, the Beaconsfield Concerts are bidding farewell in style.

The last concert of this season, on Saturday, March 15, features David Nettle and Richard Markham, regarded as one of the world's best piano duos.

David and Richard have been playing together for 30 years, and have made a name for themselves through their vitality, enthusiasm and musical integrity, which have delighted audiences across the world.

And there is another treat in store for the audience. David and Richard will be performing their concert list - which includes music by Bruch, Schumann, Liszt and Brahms, as well as their own own arrangement of Bernstein's Scenes from West Side Story - on two Steinway concert grand pianos, rare for the Beaconsfield Concerts.

The concert takes place at Beaconsfield High School, Wattleton Road, Beaconsfield at 7.45pm. Details: 01494 678595 or www.beaconsfieldmusic.org.uk
