Orchestral concert

Start spring on the right note with The Misbourne Symphony Orchestra, which performs tomorrow (Saturday) in Little Chalfont.

The concert opens with Mozart's overture from the Marriage of Figaro, followed by a lively Study For Strings, written by 17-year-old Royal Grammar School student Nils Greenhow.

Cellist Nicky Tait, who grew up in Beaconsfield and studied at the Royal Academy, will play Haydn's first cello concerto, while the Misbourne Symphony Orchestra will also perform Beethoven's seventh symphony.

The Misbourne Symphony Orchestra's next concert takes place on Saturday, April 5, 7.45pm, at Dr Challoner's High School, Little Chalfont. Tickets: 01494 784479, from Perfect Pitch, Chesham, or from the Record Shop, Woodside Road, Amersham.
