Youth orchestra celebrates ten years

A YOUTH orchestra will celebrate its tenth birthday this Sunday with a special concert at The Elgiva, Chesham.

The Chiltern Youth Chamber Orchestra (CYCO) will perform a varied programme of well-known works, including Elgar's Introduction & Allegro, Bartok's Romanian Dances and Tchaikovsky's Nocturne.

For this event, the orchestra will be led by Thomas Aldren of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain, with Peter Hanson, leader of the Eroica Quartet, as guest conductor.

Chiltern Youth Chamber Orchestra performs on Sunday, May 18, 5pm, at The Elgiva, Chesham. Tickets: 01494 582900
