Applegate opens up about cancer

Christina Applegate has reportedly confessed she is terrified her cancer will return.

The Up All Night actress underwent a double mastectomy after battling breast cancer four years ago and, although she is free of the illness now, the thought of it returning scares her, reports Extra.

Christina, whose mum is also a breast cancer survivor, told Health magazine: "I'm probably more - unfortunately, at this point - paranoid than I'd ever been before about when I go get my check ups and everything.

"I'm just scared. And I don't want to be."

The former Married... With Children star also revealed she would like a sibling for her one-year-old daughter Sadie.

The blonde, who is engaged to musician Martyn LeNoble, said: "I would love to have one more. I know I'm 40, and people are gonna say, 'Hmm...' I'll probably have to harvest in the next year to make sure we have a back-up plan!"
