Michael Eavis has said Fleetwood Mac are not available to headline Glastonbury next year.
The festival founder also ruled out Queen from headlining the 2015 event, when asked about rumours linking both bands to the event by Music Week.
Michael replied: “Queen? Not Queen, no. Fleetwood Mac don’t seem to be available at the moment. But we’ve got three excellent headliners for next year.”
He went on to confirm that one of the three artists has “been around for a long time” and that all three names will be announced on April 1.
Diana Ross is also reportedly in talks to perform at the 2015 festival.
Fleetwood Mac have been the bookmakers’ favourites to headline the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury 2015, after they were rumoured to be in talks to perform at this year’s festival.
William Hill gives Fleetwood Mac odds of 4/1 as being the headline act, followed by AC/DC and Muse with odds of 5/1.
Kate Bush is placed at 8/1 odds of headlining Glasto next year after her comeback shows this year, but she has said fans will not see her perform live again for some time.
She has the same odds as Oasis – even though Noel Gallagher has ruled out reuniting with brother Liam and the band. But he did say he’d definitely be attending the festival anyway and would like to play the Pyramid Stage with High Flying Birds, and bookies have them at 10/1.
Other bands thought to be in the running are Coldplay, Radiohead, U2 and The Stone Roses.
