Amanda Holden is to host new ITV series Give A Pet A Home.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge will be joined by fellow celebrity animal lovers to find new homes for mistreated and abandoned pets in the show, which is partnered with the RSPCA.

Amanda said: “I’m so delighted to be hosting this new series that will look into the amazing work the RSPCA do and hopefully we’ll be able to find some much needed new homes for the pets featured on the show.

“I am just going to have to stop myself from taking them all home with me!”

An RSPCA spokesperson said that it is “fantastic to be joining forces with ITV” to find animals “their perfect, forever homes”.

The six-part series will be based at Newbrook Farm Animal Centre in Birmingham and will air during the spring.

Each episode will feature six animals in need of rehoming, and viewers will able to apply to adopt them, via the ITV website. The successful applicants will then feature on the following week’s instalment.
