An 18ct white sapphire and diamond cocktail ring is one of a number of highly valuable items stolen during a burglary at a jewellers in Marlow last month, police have confirmed.

On Friday September 18, two men used a sledgehammer ransack Fullard Fine Jewellery in Spittal Street at around 2.40am.

A white Vauxhall Corsa was driven into the front of the shop before one man smashed open display cabinets while a second remained in the car.

Thames Valley Police confirmed as well as the valuable cocktail ring, the stolen items included several white gold pendants, a ruby and diamond ring and a yellow gold necklace.

Det Con Caroline Timmis said: “The cocktail ring in particular would be very recognisable to anyone who is offered it for sale.

“I would like to speak to anyone who has seen it or knows of its potential whereabouts.

“I would also like to speak to anyone who has information about this burglary or who knows where any of the other stolen items may be.
