A ‘big build’ is on the cards for a Marlow secondary school to accommodate the growing influx of students each year.

The deputy head of Great Marlow School – Kevin Ford - has revealed staff have been working closely with the county council to explore options of expanding the schools facilities.

Last year the year seven intake was increased by around 30 pupils and the school hopes this will continue as it expands its resources.

Just last year the school introduced a state of the art £1 million 6th form block to provide much needed resources for its growing 6th form.

This comes with a raft of changes for the school after headteacher Geralyn Wilson announced last week she would be leaving at the end of August, and Mr Ford would take over.
