Travellers who set up camp opposite an upmarket Marlow health club yesterday have been given 72 hours to leave.
A group of about ten vehicles moved in to the overspill car park of the Marlow Club on Fieldhouse Lane on Thursday (April 8) according to health club staff.
The police were called immediately who sent four cars to the site.
Staff at the gym - where members can pay nearly £100 a month - said a notice has been served today which will order them to leave the premises within 72 hours.
In June last year travellers caused an uproar in Marlow after they left a chain of destruction in Seymour Court Recreation Ground according to the town council – which had to dip in to a taxpayers’ reserve fund to fork out nearly £900 for the clean-up job.
