Double yellow lines have been painted on some of Marlow’s most notorious traffic black spots following a town wide review at the beginning of this year.
West Street, Newtown Road and Dean Street are just three of the 22 roads that have received new parking restrictions, which also include single lines and new signage.
However despite years of campaigning business owners on Station Road were left disappointed after the road was left out of the recent consultation.
The changes were limited to areas which are considered as dangerous or where inconsiderate parking is causing hazards.
For years, residents and businesses have been calling for an overhaul of the parking system in the town’s increasingly overcrowded streets - with some homeowners calling for permit parking on their streets.
