Residents have been given more time to comment on contentious plans to remove a row of iconic trees from a Marlow shopping street after amendments were made to proposals.
Plans to remove the four trees on Anglers Court on Spittal Street and re-landscape the area have been altered by developers, Sorbon Estates.
Residents now have until Thursday, May 26 to comment on the new proposals which include a change of tree species.
Wycombe District Council took the side of protesters in June last year and placed a protection order over four trees on Anglers Court on Spittal Street after Sorbon Estates announced plans to remove them and re landscape the area.
And a fresh set of plans were submitted to the council at the beginning of this year with developers hoping to remove the trees and replace with a “more attractive” set that keep their leaves all year round.
