The deadline for the Love Marlow Young Photographer of the Year competition – which is supported by a successful Marlow Bottom artist – fast approaches.
The competition has encouraged young photographers aged under 18 to submit entries that illustrate why they like being in Marlow.
And Marlow Bottom artist Nicola Metcalf designed the two characters Carlo the Cat and Marlow the dog who have become the main faces of the competition.
The coveted title of Young Photographer of the Year will be awarded on Sunday, June 12 in Higginson Park as Love Marlow draws to a close.
It will be split in to three age categories – under sevens, seven to 11 – year-olds and 12 – 18 year olds.
Entry form and rules are available from the Marlow Museum, on Pound Lane or at Marlow Library.
They can also be found online at www.marlowmuseum.org. Photos should be sent as jpg attachments by email to della.fitzgerald@marlowmuseum.org
