Marlow now has its very own Christmas-themed chocolate bar following a second sweet collaboration between two residents.
Lisa Arnold from confectionery store, Beehive Treats, first asked Marlow Bottom illustrator, Nicola Metcalfe, to create a chocolate bar wrapper last year after seeing some of her work around the town.
Nicola said: “A Christmas version seemed the obvious next step.”
Illustrator Nicola has previously been commissioned by the Tate Gallery to produce artwork depicting London landmarks, and later gave Marlow’s buildings and history the same colourful treatment.
The artist has also just embarked on her second solo exhibition at the Henley Business School.
The mother-of-two said her work is an her work is an “eclectic mix of bold, colourful prints and quirky originals, many with local themes” and will be showcasing her latest piece, ‘Let’s go up the river’ – a celebration of the River Thames.
'Love Marlow, Love Christmas' is available from Beehive Treats of Spittal Street, Marlow.
