A witness who disturbed two men while they were attempting to break into garages in Bisham was left injured after the burglars hit them with their car.

At around 6.50pm on Friday, February 3, the men attempted to break into three garages in Bisham Court and burgled a fourth.

Items stolen include Brierley crystal, art deco plates, collectable teddy bears with labels, three large marble desktop clocks and a large Georgian writing box.

The burglars fled the scene in a silver Ford Mondeo after being disturbed by a witness.

Before they got away, the car hit the witness, causing bruising to their knee.

The witness heard a horn sounding at the time the car left Bisham Court and pulled out on to Marlow Road.

Investigating officer Det Con Katy Kent, of Maidenhead Local CID, said: "I am appealing for potential witnesses who may have seen the offenders' vehicle as it drove off on to Marlow Road. A horn was heard to be sounded after the car left the scene.”
