Popular open-air rock concert, Rock Bottom, to bring sounds of Oasis and Abba to Marlow Bottom

The village’s very own one-day music festival, Rock Bottom, is set to feature two new headline acts this year – Noasis and Agnetha and Frida.

Noasis, the definitive tribute to Manchester’s five piece 90s super group, are set to close the festival, which will be held on June 24.

The popular band has toured extensively since it was formed by die-hard Oasis fans in 2006 and has even opened the Isle of Wight festival in 2015 and performed at big events such as Carfest.

The group even performed at Wembley Stadium in March 2014.

Agnetha and Frida, the voices of Abba, will return to Rock Bottom for a second year and looks set to have the whole crowd up dancing to the hits of the 70s and 80s.

The family-friendly festival is raising much-needed funds for the Marlow Bottom Playing Fields charity this year and will feature two stages with more than 10 acts.

South West London eight-piece, Grooveline, are also returning to the concert this year, playing a mix of Jazz funk, Acid Jazz, Disco and Funky tunes from the 1970's until now, with FEUD also taking to the stage to mesmerise the audience with their blistering guitar riffs.

Rebellion brewery is running the bar with plenty of high quality food outlets to keep everyone fed and watered between 2pm and 10.30pm.

There is also plenty to keep children happy with a funfair, plus free attractions such as circus skills, Punch and Judy, storytelling and a silent disco running all day.

Festival organiser, Richard Moss, said: “We recognise that there are lots of different festivals and events to choose from now. What we uniquely offer is an affordable family day out with some great music on 2 festival stage.

“We need to raise money for the Playing Fields which gets no government funding and we hope that we can do this in a fun way at Rock Bottom.”
