New details about Marlow's most anticipated new restaurant have been revealed ahead of its opening next month.

The Ivy Collection - famed for its luxury London restaurant that is a favourite among A-listers like David and Victoria Beckham - will open its new restaurant in Marlow High Street on May 31.

The Ivy Marlow Garden will be open seven days a week and will serve breakfast, elevenses, weekend brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, light snacks, cocktails and dinner.

A garden area out the back of the restaurant will be turned into a "tranquil oasis" for diners to enjoy during the summer months.

Inside the restaurant, designers are planning to install an "onyx bar, pendant lighting, marble floor tiles and polished parquet panel flooring", as well as leather dining chairs and bar stools.

The restaurant will be filling the empty premises at 66 to 68 High Street, which used to be occupied by Clarks shoe shop.

Wycombe District Council gave the company the green light to open in November last year, despite a number of nearby residents objecting because of noise and smells.
