Rebellion Brewery will finally unveil a new lager that has “been in the pipeline for several years” at this month’s Pub in the Park festival in Marlow.
Rebellion Lager will be released simultaneously at three Marlow pubs, The Royal Oak, The Coach and The Hand and Flowers and on The Rebellion Bar at Pub in the Park on May 19.
It will be the first keg lager brewed by the Marlow Bottom brewery in their 24-year history.
Since a first trial brew in April 2016, brewers have been busy developing the colour, flavour and quality of the lager and after blind tastings, focus panels and market research, the brewery say they are “delighted” with the result.
The new lager will be filled into kegs destined for pubs and bars, but customers at the brewery shop can expect to see it on sale in bottles from the autumn.
