A woman who suffered serious injuries in a crash near Bisham roundabout last week has sadly died in hospital, police have just confirmed.

At around 10.20am on Wednesday (July 26) two cars were involved in a crash on the A308 near the junction with The Lodge.

A black Vauxhall Corsa, which was travelling on A308 Marlow Road towards Maidenhead from the direction of A404 was involved in the crash with a blue Nissan Qashqai, which was travelling in the opposite direction.

The two occupants of the Vauxhall Corsa, the 38-year-old female driver and a nine-year-old girl, suffered serious injuries and were taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital.

Sadly the driver died yesterday in hospital, while the girl has now been discharged from hospital.

The three occupants of the Qashqai, the driver, a woman in her fifties, and two 17-year-old boys, attended Wexham Park Hospital with minor injuries.

Officers from the Joint Operations Unit for Roads Policing are now investigating the crash. No one has been arrested in connection with the incident.

Investigating officer Police Constable Emma Wallis, from Roads Policing based in Taplow, said: “I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision who has not already given details to the police or anyone who saw the vehicles travelling shortly before the collision.

“If you have any information which could assist our investigation please come forward and speak to police.”
