THREE schoolgirls from Wycombe High School have just returned from the holiday of a lifetime after winning a fortnight's all expenses paid visit to Pakistan.

Anam Anzak, 15, Natalie Wartew, 16, and Jenny Bull, 15, won the trip after entering a presentation on Pakistan for a national competition.

The trio were given the royal treatment during their stay in the country, meeting the British High Commissioner for Pakistan and the Chairman of the Senate.

Jenny said: "We were impressed by the quality of the education there. They all spoke good English and asked us lots of questions about our education system.

"The village schools were very different. In one school the headteacher was 17.

"I feel very privileged to have gone on the trip. Everywhere we went we were made so welcome."

Anam said: "My family are from Pakistan so it was great to go there and see the country. I would love to go back again."
