Blues fans say: Don't leave us now Lambo
SUPPORTERS of Wycombe Wanderers were yesterday rallying to try to stop their distraught manager Paul Lambert from quitting the club.
Lambert - shattered after his team lost out on Saturday on qualifying for a Wembley play-off final - admitted afterwards to Midweek sports editor Dave Peters he is now seriously considering his future.
He said he would be making his mind up over the next few days, and would be holding a meeting with his players today.
But fans immediately launched impassioned appeals, calling on him to stay.

Ronnie, are you insane? We're two wingers away from a very, very strong team. A clear-out would cost a fortune and in all likelihood leave us with a worse team.
