Players follow Lambo out the door
WANDERERS boss Paul Lambert left Adams Park for the last time this evening and was followed out of the door by a number of players.
Sam Stockley has joined League Two rivals Port Vale while Jack Obersteller will sign for Exeter City following their return to the Football League via the play-offs last Sunday.
First team star Stefan Oakes could also be heading for the exit.
Managing director Steve Hayes has offered the former Premiership ace a new deal but on less money than he's on now.
In a series of brief meetings at the training ground late this afternoon, Hayes also told Andre Boucaud, Stephen Gregory and Tom Cadmore that they are being released.
He told them they are welcome to return for pre-season training in the summer to try and impress the new manager when he is appointed.
All three have indicated they are unlikely to do that after being snubbed today.
Russell Martin and the injured Matt Bloomfield have been told they will be offered new contracts though.

Typical Wycombe. Get themselves a good Manager who has finally got them playing good football like they did with O'Neill and they offer him a new contract on LESS money! Unless they bring in a high profile Manager they will be struggling to stave off relegation next season.

Don't understand what is going on. Not promoted but season ticket prices have gone up and now they offer Stefan Oakes less to stay. What the hell is happening at Wycombe ?
