INITIAL findings of a probe into the police search of a man who later died will be published next week.

The Independent Police Complaints Commission said the investigation into the death of Habib Ullah was "progressing well".

It said it was aware of some "community concern" over the death of Mr Ullah, from the Colnbrook area of Slough.

He died in hospital following a drugs search of three men who were sitting in the car in a private car park near Lee Court, Sharrow Vale, High Wycombe.

During the search, at 7.15pm last Thursday, Mr Ullah encountered breathing problems and an ambulance was called.

He was taken to Wycombe Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Mike Franklin, IPCC commissioner for Thames Valley said: "We are aware of some community concern surrounding the death of Mr Ullah and I would like to reassure people that the IPCC is completely independent of the police.

"We are using our own investigators to examine the circumstances surrounding the death of Mr Ullah and Thames Valley Police are cooperating fully with our investigators.

"Our investigation is progressing welI and I will be making a further more detailed statement next week concerning our initial findings but we are keen to hear from anyone else who may have seen something at the time police were with Mr Ullah."

Anyone with information can contact the IPCC on 0800 096 9075 or email ullahappeal@ipcc.gsi.gov.uk

There will be another peaceful vigil tomorrow Saturday 12th July on Frogmoor at 2pm. Please come and support the family with their quest for justice.

Justice? For a drug dealer who has probably ruined many lives. I won't be there.

Guilty until proved innocent in High Wycombe.

We used to give them a fair trial and then hang them.

Whatever the post mortem results show, he was still a low life drug dealer.

If nobody got hung, why is it called Hangman's Wood then?

Or were the peasants just hanging around the man?

People should have a look at themselves before dissing others, everyones life is different. Paps was a great guy with a big heart, its unfortunate depression mixed him with the wrong crowd.
NOBODY IS A SAINT !!!!

The real disgrace is that in 2006-2007 82 people died in custody of the police & prison services or due to accidents caused by the police. How many Officers got prosecuted - very few. There cannot be a situation where the Police & authorities are above the law. This is what is at stake here not moral platitudes about who or what he was.

isn't it strange how everyone has a bleedin' hearts story. And its never the fault of the individual but always something else - depression, upbringing, lack of opportunities....

Ronnie you should stop and think. One day a tragic event in your life will soon change your view. Addicts are human too, its unfortunate ther'e unable to get out. The police are nothing but cold blooded killers who take advantage off thir job !!!!!!!!!!

Dear Natasha - you have berated the people who dared to judge someone who alledgedly sells drugs and ask us to have hearts. So, where is your heart and non judgemental attitude when you call all policemen cold blooded killers ?!!! You are pathetic.

Couldn't even die quite could he.

Can I request he is disposed of un-embalmed in a cardboard coffin so he can be of some use once in his life, as compost.

As I understand he was attempting to swallow a wrap of whatever he had on him and in an attempt to stop this the police used force. Maybe excessive force but it was this force that caused an injury to his throat and even maybe his neck.

So I heard.
